OUTDOOR WORSHIP Seeking to harness the spirit of the Galilean Service and provide a safe worship option for our community, beginning this Sunday, September 13, we will host a weekly outdoor worship service at 8:00 a.m. in Foley’s Heritage Park. Worship leaders will lead from the stage/gazebo at the north end of the park. Worship attenders should bring their own lawn chairs/blankets and sit on the grounds of the park to participate in worship. As with the Galilean Service, the worship experience will be contact-less (nothing will be distributed) and we will practice social distancing (members of separate households are expected to maintain at least six feet of distance).

IN THE COMMUNITY One of the ways that we believe God has been leading us is to not just wait for people to come to us at the church building but to go and meet them in the community where they are. While there are many ways to do this, a service in the park allows us to take the first step of meeting people where they are, inviting people to worship in a safe, non-threatening environment, and sharing God’s love in the heart of our community.

OUTDOOR WORSHIP What a great time we are having at Heritage Park! Some comments we heard:

  • It seemed so safe!
  • There is so much space!
  • It was glorious to see people that I haven't seen in many months!
  • The worship was beautiful and the sound system worked great!
  • I saw friends from church and friends from the community!
  • There were over 100 people there spread out in a safe way! It was a blessing to be able to worship in person for the first time in six months.
  • It was beautiful to worship with others. I am so excited that this is going to continue!
  • THANK YOU for providing this service right in the middle of our town!
