United Methodist Women are planning a Mother's Day Banquet
to be held in the Spirit Center on Saturday, May 10th, at 6:00pm.
The donation will be $10.00 and tickets can be obtained from UMW members.
If you have out of town guests, please share them with us.

Don Porter has designed a 2008 Galilean T-Shirt and all proceeds from the shirt will go to help support this service. This is a limited addition shirt and we have 50 to sell, with sizes from youth small to adult extra large. The shirts will be available for sale at the church office. Cost per shirt is: $10.00

We are collecting items to send to our troops in Iraq. A partial list of items we will send are: lip balm, sunscreen lotions, wet wipes, Juicy Fruit gum, hard candy, dry mixes of lemonades and tea or Gatorades, magazines, comic books, phone cards, DVD movies (no "R" rated please), ...etc.

Disaster Relief Teams
are always being formed in the Baypines District to facilitate
the United Methodist Disaster Volunteers. If you have talents
that can be used in a disaster please contact Hazel Kagey
and fill out an application to be accepted as a volunteer.

Hazel Kagey is the contact person for our church and our Disaster Team Captain. All kinds of talent is needed in construction,
mechanical work, sewing, teaching, medical and legal assistance,
office help, farming, child care, you name it - they need it.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

We have an active "Prayer Shawl Ministry" at our church.

This ministry enhances our service to our sick and homebound
and is meant to bring comfort to the wearer
and the awareness of God's presence in their daily lives ...

It is also a reminder that they are not forgotten
... that God loves them ...
and they are in the prayers of their Church Family.

If you can knit, crochet or sew ... and are
interested in this ministry please contact the church office.
